Everything you or your agent make in VarynForge lives in one place, read by both the web app and the MCP server. This page says what is kept, who sees it, and what goes out. The legal terms are on [the privacy page](/privacy), and where the two differ, the privacy page wins.

## Your account and your organization

For your account we keep your display name, your sign-in email and whether it is verified, your avatar from your sign-in provider, and your sign-in sessions, including the one your agent's host holds. Stripe handles and stores all payment data.

Each organization holds its name, its members and their roles, pending invitations, its subscription, and a ledger of the research credits it bought and spent, with who spent each one. [Organizations and teams](/docs/organizations-and-teams) covers how those work.

## What a project holds

A project belongs to one organization and keeps:

- its niche: the market definition, related terms, excluded terms and posting cadence
- its asset: your site, its sitemap pages, titles and descriptions, and the profile read from them
- its competitors, and which you marked important or ignored
- its queries, clustered and scored into opportunities
- its content plan: every suggestion, brief, draft and status
- its destinations, IndexNow key and Search Console connection
- its research runs, what each found, and its radar topics

Search queries and companies are shared across VarynForge; your scores and choices on them stay in your project.

## Who can see a project

Every member of the project's organization can open and work on it, whatever their role. Roles decide who manages the organization, not who reads its projects. Remove someone and they lose access; nobody outside the organization can open them. VarynForge staff can look up accounts, projects and runs to answer your questions and run the service.

## What leaves VarynForge

A research run sends your niche and its search terms to the providers that power it: a search data provider for results pages, page fetchers that read public pages such as your site and your competitors', public news and discussion sources for the radar, and OpenAI, which reads that material and writes the analysis, the clusters and the briefs. The privacy page names the AI providers VarynForge works with and the terms they work under.

Two things go out only when you connect them. Search Console is a separate, read-only Google grant; its refresh token is stored encrypted, and **Disconnect** asks Google to revoke it and removes the connection. IndexNow pings carry the URLs of articles you mark published or that publish detect finds live. [Project settings](/docs/project-settings) explains both.

Our product analytics record your MCP session, tied to your account (your user id, email and plan): each `initialize`, tool listing and tool call, its timing, whether it failed, your client name and version, and one sentence from your agent on your goal. Arguments longer than 200 characters are redacted, tool results are dropped, and `send_feedback` calls are sent without their arguments.

A `send_feedback` note is stored with your account, its kind, summary, optional detail and tool context, the project if your agent named one, and your plan.

## What your agent's host sees

Your host never sees your password; it holds an OAuth sign-in token. It does see every tool result your agent reads, your briefs and plans among them, and sends them to whichever model it runs on. That follows your host's terms, not ours. [Connect your agent](/docs/connect-your-agent) covers the connection.

## Keeping and deleting

We keep your information for as long as your account needs it, and longer where the law requires or permits it; backup copies follow the retention rules on [the privacy page](/privacy). **Delete Project** in project settings deletes the project and its data; search queries and companies shared across projects stay. Search Console numbers already synced stay until then.

The app has no button to delete your account. To close it, ask through the routes on [the privacy page](/privacy). Cancel any paid plan first. On a termination request we deactivate or delete the account and its information from our active databases, and may keep some records to prevent fraud, resolve problems or meet legal duties.

## How to ask

Email support@varynforge.com with questions about your data, and ask for deletion through the data request form on the privacy page. Your rights, and how to exercise them, are on [the privacy page](/privacy); the service terms are on [the terms page](/terms).
